Chen Zhou is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice involves film, painting and writing. His works revolve around imprisonment and liberation. Chen Zhou’s first feature, “Life Imitation“ (2017), received international festival awards and nominations. He was listed among Art Review Future Greats 2018. His latest project “Blue Hole“ was exhibited at White Cube Hong Kong in 2018. He’s had solo exhibitions at Kaufman, Aike-Dellarco, (Shanghai), Magician Space and Platform China (Beijing). He participated in group exhibitions at chi K11 (Hong Kong & Shanghai) and UCCA (Beijing), and in the 2017 Asian Film and Video Art Forum at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (Seoul).
