Born 1982 in Qingdao (China), He Jing is an art critic and curator based in Beijing.
She worked as editor in chief of LEAP French edition, and curatorial director of Art Projects of LEAP and The Art Newspaper China (TANC).
After her BA and MA at Tsinghua University, He Jing finished a research project at École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs (ENSAD) in 2009, then received a Master II Professionnel Science et Technique de l’Exposition and Master I Esthétique from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. In 2012, she worked as a researcher at Centre National Éditions-Arts-Images (CNEAI), and co-curated its first collection exhibition “Promenadologu#1” with the director Sylvie Boulanger. She also assisted Guillaume Désanges in curating the exhibition “Marcel Duchamp” and “Amazing?!Clever?!Linguistic?!, An Adventure in Conceptual Art” in France and Vienna. From 2013 to 2014, she worked as project manager at Perfect Crossovers in Beijing with Jérôme Sans.
He Jing is also a longtime contributor of critical and theoretical essays to such publications as LEAP, Artforum, Flash Art and Artouch.
