Born and raised in China, Shen Chen is a curator at Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, a nominator of Discovery Award for 2016 Jimei x Arles International Photo Festival, and a nominator of Kassel Photobook Award 2016. He holds an MFA in photography from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan; an M.Sc. in New Media from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong; and a B.A. in International Politics from Peking University, Beijing.
